I dared to imagine…& found love.

I asked earlier this week if anyone on Instagram or Facebook had a question for me. I got a question from a woman on Facebook that asked me if it was Spain ….that triggered my transformation.

I truly believe that the work in ones transforming needs to be a fully participated, conscious activity …or for me a bit like a contact sport…. -That saying that goes something like …where ever you go there YOU “still” are- (or something similar) Is true! You need to want and do the work and not expect to just show up and receive. It can help but if you’re not making the inquiring then the old baggage you left behind will eventually show-up

Thou … Spain did have part in my heart’s opening…. __________
It was when I arrived. The words they used when they see or greet women… Guapa… lovely… once I got past the being-Male-part…. it started to melt my heart…I hadn’t heard that said to me so freely in a long time.
Then when my boyfriend (who wasn’t at the time) would text or email and end with, Un Beso… a kiss … did my heart open wider?

Having lived all my years in the United States and through doings of my own … my heart was closed.
I had lots of reservations about life and being open to love again. It was full of sarcasm, suffering from depletion and protectionism.

It was the surprise… of their common expressions in their language that had such an effect on me. It felt so generous, kind and I felt VISIBLE for the first time in a long time…
It’s made me realize how when we are stingy in this simple thing, of paying a compliment & in doing so … saying “I-see-you” is so soul-killing in a human intimacy-starved-world. It’s made me want to give more compliments, a smile and make others feel good.
