Stop DOING & Learn to BE!
It’s A Monday… & Maybe once a Month!!!
…. & I’m living my life as normal… did my Sunday prep “myself” for the week. Slept 8+hours… took care of my skin, woke ….did a quick meditation.., drank my delicious coffee, read my inspirations and NOW wondering what the heck I’m going to do with this lack of energy I have today …. it’s MONDAY! I just can’t get myself going.
It’s unfortunate that we equate needing rest or a break with low productivity.
We treat them like their indulgences that need to be earned only after doing something AMAZING. Ignoring our bodies telling us …something, or slow down. Choosing only to listen to that internal school-guidance-counselor that says we will amount to nothing choosing LAZY habits.
Even on the rare occasions that we do allow ourselves to drop into that space and retreat, we make excuses for it. Feeling anxious about it… feeling a sense of urgency to push through and “DO” more.
But what I’m learning now is…
I do define most of my “time “ in my life like that… needing to do more, not enough, make up for something, or you’ll miss goal!!!
FORGETTING that DOING is not superior to BEING!!!
I’ve had a life full of DOING. I’m reminded in my own words today that its time for BEING. And that my friends, I’m discovering is even more efficient in the process of becoming ME.
